तप्तकुण्डे नरः स्नात्वा तलस्वामिनमर्चयेत् । हृत्वा पिंडप्रदानं तु कोटियात्राफलं लभेत्
taptakuṇḍe naraḥ snātvā talasvāminamarcayet | hṛtvā piṃḍapradānaṃ tu koṭiyātrāphalaṃ labhet
တပ္တကုဏ္ဍ၌ ရေချိုးပြီးနောက် လူသည် တလသွာမိကို ပူဇော်ရမည်။ ထို့ပြင် ဘိုးဘွားတို့အတွက် ပိဏ္ဍပူဇော် (piṇḍa) ကို ပြုလုပ်လျှင်၊ ယာဉ်တော်ခရီး (ယာထရာ) တစ်ကုဋိ၏ အကျိုးပွားကို ရရှိလေ၏။

Scene: Pilgrims bathe in a steaming sacred pond (Taptakuṇḍa), then proceed to a Śiva-liṅga shrine of Talasvāmi with lamps and flowers; nearby, a devotee offers piṇḍas on darbha by the water’s edge while priests chant.
Pilgrimage becomes complete when joined with purification (snāna), devotion (arcana), and duty to ancestors (piṇḍa-pradāna).
