अहिंसासदृशं पुण्यं दानात्संचयनं परम् । तपश्चानशनान्नास्ति तथा तीर्थनिषेवणात्

ahiṃsāsadṛśaṃ puṇyaṃ dānātsaṃcayanaṃ param | tapaścānaśanānnāsti tathā tīrthaniṣevaṇāt

အဟിംသာ (မထိခိုက်မဟုတ်) နှင့်တူသော ကုသိုလ်မရှိ၊ ဒါန (လှူဒါန်းခြင်း) ထက် မြင့်သော စုဆောင်းမှုမရှိ။ အစာမစားခြင်းဖြင့် ပြုသော တပသ (တပဿ) နှင့်တူသော အကျင့်မရှိ၊ ထို့အတူ တီရ္ထများကို သဒ္ဓါဖြင့် ဆည်းကပ်ခြင်းနှင့်တူသော အရာမရှိ။
