Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Pāṇḍava-kūpa
Type: kund
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Īśvara instructs Mahādevī, pointing toward a revered well to the west; the well is ornamented with sacred markers, pilgrims approaching with water pots; subtle cosmic reverence implied by ‘three worlds’.
Pilgrimage is presented as a dharmic act: approaching a revered tīrtha (here, a sacred well) is itself a means of accruing merit and receiving sanctity.
A tri-loka-venerated well associated with the Pāṇḍavas, located west of a Prabhāsa tīrtha within the Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
A general injunction to ‘go’ (gacchet) to the sacred well—implying tīrtha-darśana and customary acts like reverential approach and later bathing/worship in context.
