«abhi tvā sūra…»
Skanda (deduced)
Tirtha: Īśāna-śṛṅga (within Prabhāsa-kṣetra)
Type: peak
Listener: Ṛṣi assembly / pilgrims (contextual)
Scene: At the northeastern edge of the sacred precinct, a small peak/raised mound with a shrine-marker is worshipped. The priest faces NE, reciting ‘abhi tvā sūra…’ while offering flowers; a subtle Śiva-īśāna presence is suggested through trident motifs and a pale crescent moon.
A tīrtha is a living sacred mandala: honoring Īśāna’s quarter affirms Śiva’s guardianship and the completeness of worship.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra’s Aiśāna-śṛṅga (northeastern sacred peak) within the prescribed pilgrimage-worship circuit.
Worship the northeastern peak using “abhi tvā sūra…”, with alternatives including “yenedam bhūtam…”, or the locally given formula.
