अत्रिर्होतार्चिकस्तत्र पुलस्त्योऽध्वर्युरेव च । उद्गाताऽथो मरीचिश्च ब्रह्माहं सुरपुंगवः
atrirhotārcikastatra pulastyo'dhvaryureva ca | udgātā'tho marīciśca brahmāhaṃ surapuṃgavaḥ
အဲဒီမှာ အတြိသည် ဟောတೃ (Hotṛ) ဖြစ်သကဲ့သို့ ရစ်ခ် (Ṛc) ရွတ်ဖတ်သူလည်း ဖြစ်하였다။ ပုလஸ္တျသည် အဓ္ဝရျု (Adhvaryu) ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ မရီချိသည် ဥဒ္ဂာတೃ (Udgātṛ) ဖြစ်하였다။ နတ်တို့အတွင်း အမြင့်မြတ်ဆုံးဖြစ်သော ငါသည် ဘြဟ္မာ-ပုရောဟိတ် (ပွဲတော်ကြီးကို စောင့်ကြည့်သူ) ဖြစ်하였다။
