gautama uvāca | sarveṣāṃ kṣetratīrthānāṃ mahāśubhavināśinī | gautamīyaṃ mahābhāgā asyāstāpaḥ kva śāmyati

ဂေါတမက ပြောသည်—အို မဟာဘဂါ၊ ဤဂေါတမီသည် ကွင်းမြေသန့်ရာနှင့် တီရ္ထများ အားလုံးအတွက် မင်္ဂလာကိုဖျက်ဆီးသော အညစ်အကြေးကြီးကို ပယ်ရှားပေးသူ ဖြစ်သည်။ ထိုသို့ဖြစ်လျှင် သူမ၏ ပူပန်နာကျင်မှုသည် ဘယ်မှာမှ ငြိမ်းနိုင်မည်နည်း။
