तासु स्नात्वा महाभागा ब्रह्मपुत्रा यशस्विनः । नाम तस्य तदा चक्रुः पंचनद्यश्च तापसाः
tāsu snātvā mahābhāgā brahmaputrā yaśasvinaḥ | nāma tasya tadā cakruḥ paṃcanadyaśca tāpasāḥ
ထိုမြစ်တို့၌ ရေချိုးပြီးနောက် ကံကောင်း၍ ဂုဏ်သတင်းကြီးသော ဘြဟ္မာ၏သားတော်များဖြစ်သည့် တပသီတို့သည် ထိုနေရာကို ထိုအခါ “ပဉ္စနဒီ” ဟု အမည်ပေးကြ၏။
