तस्मादिन्द्रपदं नाम सुप्रसिद्धं धरातले । इन्द्रेण स्थापितं लिंगं यस्माद्भावनया सह । प्रसिद्धमिंद्रनाम्ना वा इन्द्रेश्वरमिति स्मृतम्
tasmādindrapadaṃ nāma suprasiddhaṃ dharātale | indreṇa sthāpitaṃ liṃgaṃ yasmādbhāvanayā saha | prasiddhamiṃdranāmnā vā indreśvaramiti smṛtam
ထို့ကြောင့် «အိန္ဒြပဒ» ဟူသောအမည်သည် မြေပြင်ပေါ်တွင် အလွန်ကျော်ကြားသည်။ အိန္ဒြာသည် သဒ္ဓါစိတ်ဖြင့် လင်္ဂကို တည်ထောင်ခဲ့သောကြောင့် အိန္ဒြာ၏နာမဖြင့်လည်း ကျော်ကြားကာ «အိန္ဒြေရှ္ဝရ» ဟု မှတ်ယူကြသည်။
