tadā kāmo drutaṃ gṛhya puṣpacāpaṃ tamabhyagāt | kandarppaṃ sahasā dṛṣṭvā sandhiteṣuṃ sudurjayam

ထိုအခါ ကာမဒေဝသည် ပန်းမြားတံကို လျင်မြန်စွာ ကိုင်ယူ၍ ထိုသူထံ ချဉ်းကပ်လာ၏။ ကန္ဒရ္ပကို ရုတ်တရက် မြင်လိုက်ရာ မြားတံကို တပ်ဆင်ပြီးသား၊ အနိုင်ယူရန် ခက်ခဲသဖြင့် (ရှီဝသည် စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားသွား၏)။
