देव्युवाच । यथा यूयं मया सृष्टास्तथैवायं महासुरः । विशेषो नास्ति मे कश्चिदुभयोः सुरसत्तमाः
devyuvāca | yathā yūyaṃ mayā sṛṣṭāstathaivāyaṃ mahāsuraḥ | viśeṣo nāsti me kaścidubhayoḥ surasattamāḥ
ဒေဝီက မိန့်တော်မူသည်—“သင်တို့ကို ငါ ဖန်ဆင်းသကဲ့သို့ပင် ဤမဟာအဆုရလည်း ငါဖန်ဆင်း၏။ အကောင်းဆုံးသော ဒေဝတို့ရေ၊ သင်တို့နှစ်ဖက်အပေါ် ငါ၌ မည်သည့်ဘက်လိုက်မှုမျှ မရှိ။”
