Pulastya
Listener: A king (pārthiva-sattama)
Scene: Pulastya narrates: Indra takes the woman and, with her, departs in a celestial chariot toward heaven; the scene is dynamic—upward motion, clouds, attendants, and a shining vimāna.
When a boon is dharmically granted, divine authority confirms it (“evam astu”) and the promised fruit manifests without obstruction.
This verse narrates the result (ascent to tridiva); the tīrtha context remains the jalāśaya described in the same adhyāya.
No additional prescription; it depicts the fulfillment of the earlier vow/observance’s fruit.
