सोद्वाहिता मया कन्या दानं सकृदिति स्मृतिः । सकृज्जल्पंति राजानः सकृज्जल्पंति पण्डिताः
sodvāhitā mayā kanyā dānaṃ sakṛditi smṛtiḥ | sakṛjjalpaṃti rājānaḥ sakṛjjalpaṃti paṇḍitāḥ
«ထိုကညာကို ကျွန်ုပ်က လက်ထပ်ပြီးပြီ။ ထုံးတမ်းအရ အလှူပေးခြင်းသည် တစ်ကြိမ်သာ ဖြစ်သည်ဟု မှတ်သားထားသည်။ မင်းများလည်း တစ်ကြိမ်သာ စကားပြောကြသည်၊ ပညာရှိများလည်း တစ်ကြိမ်သာ စကားပြောကြသည်» ဟု ဆို၏။
