बर्बरीकशिरश्चैव गिरिशृंगमवाप्य तत् । देहस्य भूमिसंस्काराश्चाभवच्छिरसो नहि । ततो युद्धं महदभूत्कुरुपांडवसेनयोः
barbarīkaśiraścaiva giriśṛṃgamavāpya tat | dehasya bhūmisaṃskārāścābhavacchiraso nahi | tato yuddhaṃ mahadabhūtkurupāṃḍavasenayoḥ
ဘရ္ဘရီက၏ ခေါင်းသည် တောင်ထိပ်သို့ ရောက်ရှိခဲ့၏။ သူ၏ ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာအတွက် မြေမြှုပ်သင်္ဂြိုဟ် အခမ်းအနားများကို ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သော်လည်း ခေါင်းအတွက် မပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ကြ။ ထို့နောက် ကုရုနှင့် ပाण्डဝ စစ်တပ်တို့အကြား မဟာစစ်ပွဲကြီး ပေါ်ပေါက်လာ၏။
