vāsudevo'pi nityaṃ tāṃ stauti śaktiṃ parātparām | ahaṃ yadi cikitsyaḥ syāṃ cikitsyaḥ so'pi kiṃ bhavān
Yudhiṣṭhira
Scene: A confident speaker cites Vāsudeva’s constant praise of the supreme Śakti, then turns the argument with a cutting analogy: if I need ‘treatment,’ then so does Vāsudeva—what about you?
Devī-bhakti is validated even by Vāsudeva; disparaging such praise is shown to be misguided.
No tīrtha is referenced; the verse emphasizes pan-Purāṇic devotion to the Supreme Śakti.
The implied practice is stuti (hymnic praise) of Devī as parātparā Śakti.
