कौथुम उवाच । एवं ते वदमानस्य आयुर्भवतु ब्रह्मणः । साध्वी बुद्धिरियं तेऽस्तु कुतो नाध्येष्यतः परम्
kauthuma uvāca | evaṃ te vadamānasya āyurbhavatu brahmaṇaḥ | sādhvī buddhiriyaṃ te'stu kuto nādhyeṣyataḥ param
ကောသုမက ပြော၏— “ဤသို့ ပြောဆိုနေသည့် သင်၏ အသက်တာသည် ဗြဟ္မာ၏ အသက်တမ်းကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ပါစေ။ သင်၌ ဤမြတ်သော ဉာဏ်ပညာ ရှိပါစေ—အဘယ်ကြောင့် နောက်ထပ် အမြင့်ပညာကို မလေ့လာနိုင်မည်နည်း?”
