आविकं परिदध्याच्च ततो वासः सितं च वा । धातुरक्तमथो नव्यं मलिनं संधितं न च
āvikaṃ paridadhyācca tato vāsaḥ sitaṃ ca vā | dhāturaktamatho navyaṃ malinaṃ saṃdhitaṃ na ca
အရင်ဆုံး သိုးမွေးအဝတ်ကို ဝတ်ဆင်ပြီးနောက် အဖြူရောင်အဝတ်ကို ဝတ်ရမည်။ သတ္တုနီရောင်ဖြင့် ဆိုးထားသော အဝတ်လည်း သုံးနိုင်သော်လည်း အသစ်ဖြစ်ရမည်၊ မညစ်ပတ်ရ၊ ချုပ်ဆက်ပြင်ဆင်ထားခြင်း မဖြစ်ရ။
