खिन्नाः प्रकृतयः सर्वास्तादृग्रूपविलोकनात् । तत्किमित्येतदाश्चर्यमूचुः पौराः सुविस्मिताः
khinnāḥ prakṛtayaḥ sarvāstādṛgrūpavilokanāt | tatkimityetadāścaryamūcuḥ paurāḥ suvismitāḥ
ထိုသို့သောရုပ်သဏ္ဌာန်ကို မြင်ရသဖြင့် ပြည်သူအပေါင်းတို့ စိတ်ညစ်၍ စိတ်ပျက်ကြ၏။ မြို့သူမြို့သားတို့ အလွန်အံ့ဩကာ “ဤအံ့ဖွယ်က ဘာနည်း၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပေါ်သနည်း” ဟု ဆိုကြ၏။
