तामसात्पंच जातानि तन्मात्राणि वुदुर्बुधाः । तन्मात्रेभ्यश्च भूतानि वेशेषाः पंच तद्भवाः
tāmasātpaṃca jātāni tanmātrāṇi vudurbudhāḥ | tanmātrebhyaśca bhūtāni veśeṣāḥ paṃca tadbhavāḥ
«တာမသ (tāmasa) အပိုင်းမှ ပညာရှိတို့ သိကြသကဲ့သို့ တန်မာတရ (tanmātra) ဟူသော သေးငယ်သော အင်္ဂါငါးပါး ပေါ်ထွန်းလာ၏။ ထိုတန်မာတရတို့မှလည်း ထူးခြားသည့် ဗူတ (bhūta) အကြီးငါးပါးသည် ၎င်းတို့၏ အကျိုးဖြစ်၍ ပေါ်လာကြ၏။»
