Girijā (Pārvatī)
Listener: Sages / internal participants
Scene: Girijā addresses the blameless goddess with affectionate reverence, affirming her as the ever-present deity of Himavat and as one who knows all; the scene is calm, devotional, and intimate.
The Purāṇa celebrates place-based divinity: sacred realms have guardians whose omnipresence supports devotees in संकट (difficulty).
The ‘king of mountains’ (Himālaya/Himācala complex) is praised implicitly through its ever-present presiding deity.
