ब्रह्मोवाच । किमर्थं भूय एव त्वं नियमं क्रूरमिच्छसि । आहाराभिमुखो दैत्य तन्मे ब्रूहि महाव्रतः

Transliteration

brahmovāca | kimarthaṃ bhūya eva tvaṃ niyamaṃ krūramicchasi | āhārābhimukho daitya tanme brūhi mahāvrataḥ

ဘြဟ္မာမိန့်တော်မူသည်– «အဘယ်ကြောင့် သင်သည် ထပ်မံ၍ ကြမ်းတမ်းသော သီလကျင့်စဉ်ကို လိုလားသနည်း။ အို ဒိုင်တျ၊ ယခု အစာစားရန် မျက်နှာမူလာသော သင်၏အကြောင်းကို ငါ့အား ပြောကြားလော့၊ မဟာဝ్రတရှိသူရေ»။
