Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Role: teaching
It teaches that during consecration (pratiṣṭhā), Shiva’s manifest aspect (a specific “face/direction”) is ritually invoked and stabilized, so the devotee can approach Pati (Shiva) through ordered worship and attain purification and grace.
The verse points to a concrete, consecrated mode of Saguna worship: Shiva is adored through a ritually established presence (as in Linga-pratiṣṭhā), where directional aspects and sacred arrangements (like a water-circle) support focused arcana to Mahādeva.
It suggests consecration-oriented worship using a purified water arrangement (vāri-maṇḍala) and steady arcana—offering water and maintaining one-pointed devotion—supported by Shaiva staples like mantra-japa (e.g., Panchakshara) during the rite.
