अथ चैवं करोमीति लब्धानुज्ञस्तु देशिकः । आनीयोपोषितं शिष्यं हविष्याशिनमेव वा

ထို့နောက် “ဤသို့ပင် ဆောင်ရွက်မည်” ဟု ဆုံးဖြတ်ကာ ခွင့်ပြုချက်ရရှိသော ဆရာတော်သည် ဥပောသ (upavāsa) စောင့်ထိန်း၍ အစာရှောင်ထားသော တပည့်ကို—သို့မဟုတ် အနည်းဆုံး ဟဝိစ် (havis) ပူဇော်အစာကိုသာ စားသုံးသူကို—ရှေ့သို့ ခေါ်ဆောင်လာရမည်။

Upavāsa (religious fasting) or a havishyanna-style diet (havis-only) is prescribed as a preparatory observance, supporting mantra practice and ritual readiness for Shaiva worship and possible diksha.
