ब्रह्मोवाच । यत्कांक्षसे दैत्यवरास्तु ते वै सर्वं भवत्येव वचस्सकामम् । उत्तिष्ठ दैत्येन्द्र लभस्व कामं सदैव वीरैस्तु कुरुष्व युद्धम्
brahmovāca | yatkāṃkṣase daityavarāstu te vai sarvaṃ bhavatyeva vacassakāmam | uttiṣṭha daityendra labhasva kāmaṃ sadaiva vīraistu kuruṣva yuddham
ဗြဟ္မာက မိန့်တော်မူသည်—“ဒိုင်တျာတို့အနက် အကောင်းဆုံးရေ၊ သင်လိုလားသမျှသည် အမှန်တကယ် ဖြစ်လာမည်၊ ငါ၏စကားသည် အလဟသ မဖြစ်။ ထလော့ ဒိုင်တျာအရှင်၊ သင်လိုသော ရည်မှန်းချက်ကို ရယူလော့၊ သင်၏သူရဲကောင်းများနှင့်အတူ အစဉ်မပြတ် စစ်ပွဲတွင် ပါဝင်လော့။”

It highlights the binding power of a deity’s word (satya-vākya) in the cosmic order, while also showing how worldly desires and boons can propel beings deeper into conflict—contrasting transient gains with the Shaiva aim of liberation through alignment with Pati (Shiva).
In the Yuddha Khanda setting, the verse frames a worldly, boon-driven path (seeking power and victory) that often culminates in confrontation with divine order—whereas Linga/Saguna Shiva worship redirects desire into bhakti and surrender, transforming ambition into devotion.
No explicit ritual is prescribed in this line; the practical Shaiva takeaway is to restrain kāma (self-serving desire) through japa of the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and to cultivate vīrya (steadfastness) as inner discipline rather than outward hostility.
