Even the fiercest beings are shown moving toward Śiva, indicating that all motion and destiny unfold under Pati’s sovereignty; opposition to dharma ultimately leads to encountering Śiva’s governing presence and judgment.
In the Yuddha narrative, Śiva is approached as Saguna—the manifest Lord who acts in the world to restrain adharma. Linga-worship remembers the same Śiva as the supreme center: whether approached in devotion or defiance, He remains the ultimate reality and refuge.
A practical takeaway is to steady the mind in Śiva-smaraṇa (remembrance) through japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—especially when facing inner ‘battle’ like anger or pride, aligning oneself with Śiva rather than rushing under impulse.
