Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
It highlights the Shaiva ideal of śakti as tejas: a realized sage blesses others, then resumes a composed posture—showing that spiritual authority expresses itself through benediction, restraint, and steadiness of mind.
Though the verse is a narrative transition, it reflects the Linga-worship ethos of disciplined reverence: blessings, proper seating, and orderly conduct in sacred gatherings are part of honoring Saguna Shiva through dharmic decorum.
The implied takeaway is to begin worship or recitation with āśīrvāda (invocation/blessing) and then sit steadily in a clean, pleasing āsana for japa or contemplation—ideally with the Panchākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” in a calm, focused mind.
