It highlights śravaṇa (reverent listening): the Goddess discerns that spiritually aligned counsel is “hita” (true welfare) and therefore becomes “sukhāvaha” (a source of inner peace), a key Shaiva devotional attitude.
In Shaiva practice, devotion to Saguna Shiva is strengthened by accepting scriptural and guru-instruction as beneficial; such receptive listening matures into disciplined worship (pūjā) and steadiness in Linga-bhakti.
The implied practice is śravaṇa and manana—listen to Shiva-kathā or mantra-upadeśa, reflect on it, and then apply it in daily japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and simple worship with sincerity.
