वयमु त्वा तदिदर्था इन्द्र त्वायन्तः सखायः । कण्वा उक्थेभिर्जरन्ते ॥

vayám u tvā́ tád id arthā́ índra tvāyántaḥ sakhā́yaḥ | kaṇvā́ ukthébhiḥ jarante ||

We indeed come to you for that very aim, O Indra; seeking you as comrades, the Kaṇvas grow in you by their solemn utterances.
