सुमागधी नदी रम्या मगधान् विश्रुताययौ।पञ्चानां शैलमुख्यानां मध्ये मालेव शोभते।।।।

sumāgadhī nadī ramyā magadhān viśrutāyayau | pañcānāṃ śailamukhyānāṃ madhye māleva śobhate ||

လှပ၍ နာမည်ကျော်သော စုမာဂဓီ မြစ်သည် မဂဓာပြည်၌ စီးဆင်း၏။ ထိုတောင်ကြီးအထင်ကရ ငါးလုံးအလယ်၌ ပန်းကုံးကဲ့သို့ တောက်ပလှ၏။
