सप्तदशः सर्गः — देवसंवादः तथा वानर-ऋक्ष-उत्पत्तिः

ते प्रधानेषु यूथेषु हरीणां हरियूथपा:।बभूवुर्यूथपश्रेष्ठा वीरांश्चाजनयन् हरीन्।।।।
te pradhāneṣu yūtheṣu harīṇāṃ hariyūthapāḥ | babhūvur yūthapaśreṣṭhā vīrāṃś cājanayan harīn ||
ဝါနရအုပ်စုကြီးများအနက် အထင်ကရအုပ်စုများတွင် ထိုခေါင်းဆောင်တို့သည် ခေါင်းဆောင်အပေါင်းတို့၏ အကောင်းဆုံးဖြစ်လာကြပြီး၊ ရဲရင့်သတ္တိပြည့်ဝသော ဝါနရသူရဲကောင်းများကိုလည်း မွေးဖွားစေ하였다။
