aho daśaratho rājā nisnehaḥ svasutaṃ priyam |

prajānām anaghaṃ rāmaṃ parityaktum ihēcchati ||

Translation

အို မဟာဒုက္ခပါပဲ! ဒဿရထ မင်းကြီးသည် မေတ္တာကင်းမဲ့သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၍ ယခု ဤနေရာတွင် မိမိ၏ချစ်လှစွာသော သားတော်—ပြည်သူတို့ချစ်ခင်ကြသော အပြစ်ကင်းသန့်ရှင်းသည့် ရာမကို စွန့်ပစ်လိုသည်။
