Lament of the Citizens of Ayodhya on Rama’s Absence

प्रभातायां तु शर्वर्यां पौरास्ते राघवं विना।शोकोपहतनिश्चेष्टा बभूवुर्हतचेतसः।।।।

prabhātāyāṃ tu śarvaryāṃ paurās te rāghavaṃ vinā | śokopahata-niśceṣṭā babhūvur hata-cetasaḥ || 2.47.1 ||

သို့သော် ညသည် မိုးလင်းသို့ လှည့်လာသောအခါ ရာဃဝကို မမြင်ရသော မြို့သူမြို့သားတို့သည် ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းကြောင့် စိတ်နှလုံးကျိုးကြေကာ မလှုပ်မယှက် မသိမသာ ဖြစ်သွားကြ၏။
