तं वन्दमानं रुदती माता सौमित्रिमब्रवीत्।हितकामा महाबाहुं मूध्नर्युपाघ्राय लक्ष्मणम्।।।।

Transliteration

taṃ vandamānaṃ rudatī mātā saumitrim abravīt | hitakāmā mahābāhuṃ mūrdhny upāghrāya lakṣmaṇam ||

Translation

သုမိတ္ရာ၏သား လက္ခ္မဏ မိမိကိုယ်ကို ဂုဏ်ပြု၍ ဦးညွတ်နမസ്കာရပြုစဉ်၊ မိခင်သည် ငိုကြွေးနေသော်လည်း သား၏အကျိုးကိုသာ လိုလားကာ၊ လက်ခ္မဏ၏ နဖူးကို နမ်း၍ (အနံ့ရှူ၍) မဟာဗာဟုသော သားတော်အား စကားဆို하였다။
