Sandhi Resolution Notes:
Śaunaka is a revered sage; after addressing the king, he departs for his home, marking the close of the immediate counsel or encounter.
The king, along with his beloved (priyā), is described as being pervaded by great joy (mahatā harṣeṇa āviṣṭaḥ).
The verse highlights the auspicious resolution that follows wise counsel: respectful dialogue with a sage culminates in harmony and gladness within the household.
