Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames Kurukṣetra as a concentrated sacred geography: the seven forests located at its center are presented as puṇya-bestowing spaces, preparing the listener for their names and associated merits.
Bhakti is implied through tīrtha-reverence: honoring and approaching sacred places as sanctified by dharma increases merit and supports devotion-oriented living, even before specific deity-worship details are given.
It primarily reflects Purāṇic tīrtha-anukrama (systematic listing of sacred sites). While not a direct Vedāṅga lesson, it supports ritual practice by organizing pilgrimage knowledge used in dharma and vrata observances.
