It defines “Mahodaya” as an especially auspicious dawn-condition connected with Māgha Śukla Saptamī, indicating that precise sacred timing (kāla) elevates the merit of a vrata/rite.
By highlighting the sanctity of aruṇodaya and a specific tithi, it points devotees toward disciplined, time-aligned observance—an external support that steadies remembrance and worship in bhakti practice.
Jyotiṣa/Vedic calendrics: identifying tithi (Saptamī), pakṣa (Śukla), month (Māgha), and the crucial time-marker aruṇodaya for determining the correct observance window.
