FAQs

It links inner spiritual qualities (“three signs” abiding in the heart) with the purifying grace of tīrtha-water, declaring that imbibing such sanctified water completes one’s dharmic purpose (kṛtārtha).

In a tīrtha context, drinking sacred water is a devotional act of śraddhā; the verse implies that sincere inner disposition (heart) together with reverent engagement in holy rites leads to spiritual fulfillment.

Primarily kalpa-style ritual practice: the prescribed use of tīrtha-jala (holy water) as a purifier in pilgrimage observances; it is not a technical verse on vyākaraṇa or jyotiṣa.
