It teaches that devotion is not only inner emotion but is proven through dharmic conduct—joyfully honoring a worthy guest (especially a brāhmaṇa) with respectful hospitality.
Bhakti here appears as bhakti-bhāva expressed through humble service: welcoming, honoring, and offering a seat—practical devotion that purifies the heart and supports sacred living.
Rather than a technical Vedanga lesson, it highlights sadācāra aligned with Dharmaśāstra norms of atithi-satkāra (guest reception): satkāra and offering āsana as a basic ritual etiquette within Vedic culture.
