मुक्त्वैकं ब्राह्मणं लोके नोक्तं शूद्रविशोरपि । दानं हि पालनं युद्धं तृतीयं भूभुजां स्मृतम् ॥ २ ॥
muktvaikaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ loke noktaṃ śūdraviśorapi | dānaṃ hi pālanaṃ yuddhaṃ tṛtīyaṃ bhūbhujāṃ smṛtam || 2 ||
ဤလောက၌ ဗြာဟ္မဏ တစ်မျိုးကိုသာ ချန်လှပ်၍ ရှုဒ္ဒရနှင့် ဝိုင်ရှျယတို့အတွက် အခြားတာဝန် မဆိုထား။ သို့ရာတွင် ဘုရင်တို့အတွက်မူ ဒါန (လှူဒါန်းခြင်း)၊ ပာလန (ကာကွယ်အုပ်ချုပ်ခြင်း) နှင့် ယုဒ္ဓ (စစ်ပွဲ) ဟူသော သုံးပါးကို အဓိကတာဝန်ဟု မှတ်သားကြ၏။
