Narada (narrative voice within Uttara-Bhaga Mahatmya section; traditional dialogue frame with Sanatkumara lineage implied)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It highlights steadfastness in duty: enduring a prolonged and frightening ordeal, the protagonist acts from obedience to a righteous instruction (the father’s word) and attains the intended result.
Indirectly, it models bhakti-like fidelity—single-pointed commitment to an आदेश (command) taken as sacred—showing that sincere adherence to a higher directive leads to attainment.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyakarana or Jyotisha) is taught in this line; the practical takeaway is dharmic conduct—following legitimate instruction and persevering through hardship.
