Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
निरन्तराः शरौघेण कृताः केचिद्रणाजिरे ।
शैलानुकारिणः प्राणान् मुमुचुस्त्रिदशार्दनाः ॥
nirantarāḥ śaraugheṇa kṛtāḥ kecid raṇājire | śailānukāriṇaḥ prāṇān mumucus tridaśārdanāḥ ||
စစ်မြေပြင်၌ အချို့သည် မြားမိုးကြီးများကြောင့် အနာတရများဖြင့် မပြတ်မတောက် ပြည့်နှက်သွားကြ၏။ နတ်တို့ကို နှိပ်စက်သော ထိုသူတို့သည် အသက်ကို စွန့်၍ တောင်တန်းကဲ့သို့ လဲကျကြ၏။

Those who ‘oppress the devas’—i.e., who violate the sustaining principles—inevitably collapse under the very momentum of their aggression; the Devī embodies the restoring power of ṛta.
