Adhyaya 63 — The Birth of Svarocis and the Rescue of Manoramā: The Astra-Heart and the Healing of Curses
svarociścintayāmāsa dṛṣṭvā taṃ samupāgatam | gṛhṇātveṣa vacaḥ satyaṃ tasyāstviti mahāmuneḥ
Faith in satya-vāk (truthful speech) of realized beings is portrayed as stabilizing. Svarociṣa does not panic; he aligns action with a higher assurance and prepares a measured response.
Manvantara: narrative exemplum emphasizing the authority of ṛṣi-vākya within historical/cyclical time.
The ‘truth of the sage’s word’ functions like a protective mantra: when mind anchors in a higher certainty, fear loses its capacity to govern decisions.
