Adhyaya 57 — The Ninefold Divisions of Bharata: Mountains, Rivers, and Peoples
विन्ध्यश्च पारियात्रश्च सप्तैवात्र कुलाचलाः ।
तेषां सहस्रशश्चान्ये भूधराः ये समीपगाः ॥
vindhyaś ca pāriyātraś ca saptaivātra kulācalāḥ | teṣāṃ sahasraśaś cānye bhūdharā ye samīpagāḥ ||
ဗိန္ဓျာနှင့် ပါရီယာတ်ရ—ဤနေရာ၌ ‘ကုလာချလ’ ဟုခေါ်သော တောင်တန်းစနစ် ခုနစ်ခု ရှိ၏။ ထို့အနီး၌ ထောက်ကူတောင်များ အခြားတောင်များ ထောင်ပေါင်းများစွာ ရှိနေ၏။

The Purāṇa emphasizes structural order: major supports (kulācalas) and innumerable minor supports (bhūdharas). Analogously, dharma has principal pillars and many subsidiary practices.
