Adhyaya 50 — Mind-Born Progeny, Svayambhuva Manu’s Lineage, and Brahmā’s Ordinance to Duḥsaha (Alakṣmī’s Retinue)
एतानि तव पुष्ट्यर्थमन्यच्चापि ददामि ते ।
अश्रद्धया हुतं दत्तमस्नातैर्यदवज्ञया ॥
etāni tava puṣṭy-artham anyac cāpi dadāmi te |
aśraddhayā hutaṃ dattam asnātair yad avajñayā ||
«ဤအရာတို့ကို သင်၏အာဟာရအတွက် ငါပေး၏၊ ထို့ပြင် ငါထပ်မံပေးမည်။ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းမရှိဘဲ မီးထဲသို့ ပူဇော်သည့်အရာ၊ သို့မဟုတ် ဒါနပြုသည့်အရာ၊ ထို့ပြင် ရေချိုးမထားသူက မထီမဲ့မြင်စိတ်ဖြင့် ပူဇော်သည့်အရာတို့ကိုလည်း ငါပေး၏»။

Acts of worship and charity require śraddhā (reverent intent) and basic ritual propriety; when performed with contempt or impurity, they fail to yield the intended dharmic merit and are portrayed as feeding lower forces (here, a Yakṣa).
Primarily Dharma/Ācāra instruction rather than sarga/pratisarga/manvantara/vaṃśa/vaṃśānucarita; it is an ethical-ritual teaching embedded in narrative.
Śraddhā is treated as the subtle ‘carrier’ of offerings; without it, the offering’s ‘address’ is lost and the energy is said to sink to tamasic recipients—symbolized by the Yakṣa.
