अग्रं चतुर्गुणं प्राहुर्हन्तकारं द्विजोत्तमाः ।
भोजनं हन्तकारं वा अग्रं भिक्षामथापि वा ॥
agraṃ caturguṇaṃ prāhur hantakāraṃ dvijottamāḥ / bhojanaṃ hantakāraṃ vā agraṃ bhikṣām athāpi vā
ဒွိဇအထက်မြတ်တို့က “ပထမပိုင်း” (agra) သည် လေးမျိုးဖြစ်ပြီး ၎င်းကို “ဟန္တကာရ” (hantakāra) ဟု ကြေညာကြသည်။ သို့မဟုတ် အစာစားပွဲတစ်ခုလုံးကိုပင် “ဟန္တကာရ” ဟု ခေါ်ကြပြီး၊ ထိုအမည်ကို ပထမပိုင်း သို့မဟုတ် ဒါနအပေါ်တွင်ပါ သုံးကြသည်။
