Adhyaya 24 — Kuvalayashva’s Refusal of Gifts and the Vision of Madalasa’s Maya
असत्यार्थे नृणां याञ्चाप्रवणं जायते मनः ।
सत्यशेषे कथं याञ्चां मम जिह्वा करिष्यति ॥
asatyārthe nṛṇāṃ yāñcāpravaṇaṃ jāyate manaḥ |
satyaśeṣe kathaṃ yāñcāṃ mama jihvā kariṣyati ||
ရည်ရွယ်ချက် မမှန်ကန်လျှင် လူ၏စိတ်သည် တောင်းပန်ခြင်းမှ လှည့်ကွာသွားသည်။ အကယ်၍ ငါ့အတွက် အမှန်တရားသာ ကျန်နေပါက၊ ငါ့လျှာသည် မည်သို့ တောင်းဆိုစကားကို ထုတ်ပြောနိုင်မည်နည်း။
