पुत्रावूचतुः ततः प्रहृष्टा सा कन्या सखीवदनमुत्तमम् ।

लज्जाजडं वीक्षमाणा किञ्चिन्नोवाच भामिनी ॥

ထို့နောက် မိန်းကလေးနှစ်ဦးသည် စကားပြောကြသည်။ ထိုမိန်းကလေးသည် ဝမ်းမြောက်လျက် မိမိမိတ်ဆွေ၏ မျက်နှာအလွန်မြတ်ကို ကြည့်ရှု하였다။ ရှက်ကြောက်၍ ကိုယ်တင်းကျပ်သွားသော လှပသည့်မိန်းကလေးသည် စကားတစ်လုံးမျှ မပြောခဲ့။
