दत्तात्रेय उवाच
सत्यमेतत् सुरा विद्या ममाऽस्ति समदर्शिनः ।
अस्याऽस्तु योषितः सङ्गादहमुच्छिष्टतां गतः ॥
dattātreya uvāca
satyam etat surā vidyā mamāsti samadarśinaḥ |
asyāstu yoṣitaḥ saṅgād aham ucchiṣṭatāṃ gataḥ ||
ဒတ္တာတြေယာက ဆိုသည်— «ဟုတ်ပါသည်၊ အို နတ်တို့၊ ဉာဏ်သည် ငါ့အပိုင်ဖြစ်ပြီး ငါသည် အားလုံးကို တန်းတူမြင်သူ ဖြစ်၏။ သို့သော် ဤမိန်းမနှင့် ပေါင်းသင်းခြင်းကြောင့် ‘ဥစ္ဆိဋ္ဌ’ ဟုခေါ်သော (အကျန်အစားကြောင့် မသန့်ရှင်းသော) အခြေအနေသို့ ငါရောက်လာ၏»
