राजधर्मः—प्रमादवर्जनं, दण्डनीतिः, दुर्बलरक्षणम्
Royal Dharma: Vigilance, Just Punishment, Protection of the Vulnerable
युक्ता यदा जानपदा भिक्षन्ते ब्राह्मणा इव । अभीदक्षणं भिक्षुरूपेण राजानं घ्नन्ति तादृूशा:
yuktā yadā jānāpadā bhikṣante brāhmaṇā iva | abhīdakṣiṇaṃ bhikṣurūpeṇa rājānaṃ ghnanti tādṛśāḥ ||
ဥတဿျက ပြောသည်— «ပြည်သူပြည်သားတို့သည် အုပ်စုဖွဲ့၍ ဗြာဟ္မဏများကဲ့သို့ ဆွမ်းခံသွားလာကြပြီး၊ ဘိက္ခုရုပ်ကို ဆောင်ကာ ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းမရှိဘဲ လုပ်ဆောင်လာသောအခါ၊ ထိုသို့သောသူတို့သည် နောက်ဆုံးတွင် မင်းကိုပင် ချေမှုန်းကြလိမ့်မည်»။
