Kośārtha-Rājadharma: Ethical Revenue Collection and Social Regulation (कोशार्थ-राजधर्मः)
सकृत्पाशावकीण्णस्ति न भविष्यन्ति दुर्दमा: । उचितेनैव भोक्तव्यास्ते भविष्यन्ति यत्नतः
sakṛt pāśāvakīrṇās tu na bhaviṣyanti durdamāḥ | ucitenaiva bhoktavyās te bhaviṣyanti yatnataḥ ||
ဘိဿမက မိန့်ကြားသည်– «တစ်ခါတည်းနဲ့ ကြိုးကွင်းထဲ အကုန်လုံးကို ချုပ်နှောင်ပြီး ဝန်ကြီးမားကို တပြိုင်နက်တည်း တင်လိုက်မည်ဆိုလျှင် မထိန်းနိုင်သောသူတို့သည် ထိန်းချုပ်ရခက်လာမည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် သင့်တော်သောအတိုင်းအတာနှင့် သေချာသောကြိုးပမ်းမှုဖြင့် တစ်ကောင်ချင်းစီကို ထိန်းညှိကာ ဝန်ထမ်းနိုင်အောင် လေ့ကျင့်ရမည်။ အချိန်ကြာလာသော် သူတို့သည် အပြည့်အဝ ဝန်ကို ထမ်းနိုင်သူများ ဖြစ်လာမည်။ သင်ခန်းစာမှာ—စည်းကမ်းနှင့် တာဝန်ယူမှုကို တဖြည်းဖြည်း ပျိုးထောင်ရသည်; တစ်ခါတည်း ဖိစီး၍ မချေမှုန်းသင့်»။
