सान्त्व-निति: (Sāntva-Nīti) — The One-Word Principle of Conciliation
तस्मात् सान्त्व॑ प्रयोक्तव्यं दण्डमाधित्सतो5पि हि । फल॑ं च जनयत्येवं न चास्योद्धिजते जन:
tasmāt sāntvaṁ prayoktavyaṁ daṇḍam ādhitsato 'pi hi | phalaṁ ca janayaty evaṁ na cāsyoddvijate janaḥ ||
ထို့ကြောင့် ဒဏ်ခတ်မည်ဟု ရည်ရွယ်သော မင်းတော်ပင်လျှင် အရင်ဆုံး သဘောထားပျော့ပျောင်း၍ သက်သာစေသော စကားကို သုံးသင့်သည်။ ထိုသို့ပြုလျှင် မိမိရည်ရွယ်ချက်ကို ပြည့်စုံစေပြီး မည်သူမျှ သူ့ကြောင့် စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်း မဖြစ်ပေါ်။
